In this day and age, having a website for your business is of paramount importance for its growth and sustainability. Your website is a powerful digital tool - it is the hub of all your online efforts!

Surprisingly, there are a number of small businesses that don’t have websites, mainly because they don’t see the value in it - especially because they’re a brick-and-mortar store. We’re here to show you exactly why you need to have a business website.

Credibility

Let’s say I’m considering purchasing an item you sell, or seeking a service you provide, what’s the first thing I will do? That’s right, I head to Google - to do my research to find this best product or service available! Now, if you don’t have website, not only have you lost (a potential customer), you were never in the game, and your competitor scores an easy one! Simply put, customers prefer doing business with and have more confidence in companies that they know something about and can readily gain information when needed. Your website is there to inform visitors about your company and the products and services you offer.

Accessibility

The amazing thing about the internet is that it’s always open, so even when your store closes (if you have a brick and mortar location), your website will be available to your customers and potential customers 24/7! This means that information about your company and the products or services you offer are readily available at any time convenient to the customer/potential customer - which in turn will better help them make a purchasing decision.

Insight about your customers (target audience)

A website (a properly built and configured one) gives businesses the opportunity to learn about their target audience (who they are, what they want, how/why/when they buy). The more you learn about them, the better you are able to create and implement strategies targeted at them; and more targeted campaigns equals more sales. :)
